The Patrimony self-winding is entirely in line with the traditions of time-honoured artisan-style traditions perpetuated by Vacheron Constantin. External refinement is matched by inner elegance. At its heart beats self-winding Calibre 2450 Q6, developed and crafted by Vacheron Constantin, and visible through the caseback fitted with a sapphire crystal. This model bears the prestigious Poin?on de Geneve.
The present version, ref. 85180/000R-9166 was introduced at Watches & Wonders 2014.
Movement
Caliber 2450 bears the prestigious Geneva Hallmark and beats at 28,800 vibrations/hour. Besides displaying the hours and minutes, it has a centre seconds and a date window at 6 o'clock. With a power reserve of approximately 43 hours, this calibre features ceramic ball bearings in the rotor system, dispensing with the need for lubrication and guaranteeing the system a longer life.
It is also equipped with a stop seconds device for stopping the watch and setting it to the nearest second.
