Description
The Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 232.30.42.21.01.006 is a limited edition of 170 pieces created for members of the Special Boat Service (SBS), a special forces unit of the United Kingdom's Royal Navy. It features their service badge printed on te inside of the sapphire crystal case back.
Movement
The in-house caliber 8500 was introduced in the 2007 De Ville Hour Vision. Its two barrels provide a total of 60 hours of power reserve. Version 8501, for use in gold watches, features a solid gold rotor.
Since 2015 certain watches containing this movement may carry the 'Master Co-Axial Chronometer' on the dial.
