Description
When Omega created the Seamaster Aqua Terra it was influenced by some design elements which had characterized some great Omega wristwatches in the past. One of these was the 1960 Automatic Seamaster. The Aqua Terra is a fitting homage to its timeless design but what's inside its case would make its ancestor proud.
The Aqua Terra 41.5 Day Date has a case of 41.5mm, which houses the self-winding caliber 8602 / 8612 with day display at 12:00 and date at 6:00.
Reference 231.50.42.22.02.001 has a red gold case and matching bracelet. The dial is silver.
Movement
Self-winding movement with Co-Axial Escapement for greater precision, stability and durability. Day-date change at midnight with instantaneous jump. Silicon balance-spring on free sprung-balance, 2 barrels mounted in series, automatic winding in both directions to reduce winding time. 18 Ct red gold balance bridge and oscillating mass, luxury finish with exclusive Geneva waves in arabesque.
