Description
The design classic enhanced with a black (and patented) power reserve indicator, preventing you from forgetting to wind the watch. The date (another NOMOS patent) reminds you of anniversaries and birthdays. The date ring was wrapped around the movement, while the power reserve mechanism is integrated in the barrel?aensuring that the watch remains flat and elegant.
The present model has a sapphire crystal caseback.
Earlier versions feature the Delta movement; current version the DUW 4401.
Movement
The first NOMOS caliber with the in-house built NOMOS swing system, distinguished by its blued balance spring. It is at work in the new model Metro and in Tangente Datum Gangreserve. Some of the technical details: manual winding, date and power reserve mechanism, both patented, movement individually numbered on the three-quarter plate, 23 jewels, fine adjustment in six positions, Glashutte sunburst decoration and NOMOS perlage.
