Description
Within the Nomos collection, the Orion is arguably the most classical and vintage timepiece. It is a wristwatch that oozes the style and class of watches from a bygone era. The Orion design is an example of perfect restrain - and yet it is anything but boring and offers a lot of personality.
Reference 392 and 393 are the first Orion to be powered by an automatic movement; the ref. DUW 3001 'neomatik'. Reference 393 has a champagne colored dial with a neon orange small seconds hand.
Movement
The first automatic movement equipped with the NOMOS swing system. At only 3.2-millimeters tall, this motor is incredibly flat?aand yet outstandingly precise. Of course, it is also full of craftsmanship, the NOMOS swing system within sets the pace, and the renowned Glashutte characteristics such as the three-quarter plate, Glashutte ribbing, tempered blue screws etc., are self-evident.
