Within the Nomos collection, the Orion is arguably the most classical and vintage timepiece. It is a wristwatch that oozes the style and class of watches from a bygone era. The Orion design is an example of perfect restrain - and yet it is anything but boring and offers a lot of personality. The present model features a case of 38mm.
Reference 380 has both a date as well as a small seconds scale at 6:00, courtesy of its DUW 4101 movement. It features golden indexes and tempered blue hands. Reference 381 is similar though this one features white metal indexes and hands.
A new in-house caliber with swing: DUW 4101 is ticking in Metro 38 Datum and Metro 38 Datum urban black. Characterized by the blued balance spring, this movement is also equipped with the NOMOS swing system?athe in-house escapement with which NOMOS Glashutte was able to break the Swatch Group's monopoly in the industry last year. Further features include manual winding, a date function, fine adjustment in six positions, a Glashutte three-quarter plate, and Glashutte stopwork.
With the introduction of DUW 4101, NOMOS Glashutte will started equipping all hand-wound movements with a date function with the NOMOS swing system as well.
