Description
The IWC Portugieser Automatic 2000 was launched in the year 2000 in platinum (250 pieces), red gold (750 pieces) and stainless steel (1000 pieces). It was IWC's first wristwatch with a movement fully conceived in-house.
The ref. 5000-001 has a stainless steel case of 42mm and a black dial with silver subdials.
Movement
The caliber 5000 was IWC's first automatic movement with 7 day power reserve. It was launched in 2000 and used in the Portugieser 2000.
