In March of 2015, H. Moser & Cie. unveiled a concept watch, with a dial stripped of any logo or indices. The Manufacture's aim was clear: to return to the essential by placing the product centre stage, refined further with no visible branding, yet retaining its extremely strong identity. Part of a philosophical approach, this watch was designed to be a unique piece, but faced with the enthusiastic response this model received, H. Moser & Cie. decided to produce 4 new models, each available as a limited edition of 10 watches.
With the Endeavour Centre Seconds Concept collection, H. Moser & Cie. demonstrates that a real luxury product is immediately identifiable even without a visible logo or brand identifier, just like a painting that remains unsigned by the artist. An 18-carat white or rose gold case with alternating polished and satin-finished flanks, a fume dial with a sunburst pattern. These fine materials used for the exterior reinforce the message of a movement featuring traditional finishes: H. Moser & Cie. stands for distinctive luxury.
The public was unanimously enthralled by the Concept Watch from H. Moser & Cie., allowing the manufacture to realise that this philosophy meets a genuine need: a desire to return to basics, a desire for authenticity, for purity. By returning the product itself to centre stage, H. Moser & Cie. has shifted the focus back to veritable luxury and the beauty of traditional expertise, shining the spotlight back on the people responsible for creating these products.
Offering rose or white gold versions of the Endeavour case allows the manufacture to play with the range of tones used on its fume dial: traditional rhodium-plated fume, the brand's signature style, or midnight blue fume with its mysterious nuances. An extension of the watch, the strap adds the finishing touch, whether this is traditional alligator leather, a refined version in hand-buffed calfskin, or the more rugged look of kudu leather.
The movement within the Endeavour Centre Seconds calibre HMC 343 combines craftsmanship with performance, with double barrels set with screwed gold chatons enabling a minimum 7-day power reserve. It also includes H. Moser's unique removable escapement module and an original Straumann Hairspring? with a stabilised Breguet overcoil.
