The Grand Seiko SBGX218 was introduced in 2017, when Grand Seiko became a brand of its own rather than a collection within the larger Seiko family. Both case and bracelet are yellow gold.
Movement
The smallest of the 9F series of calibers, 9F62 has a slimmer profile and a smaller size.

The Instant Date Change Mechanism changes the date display in the blink of an eye.

The sealed structure improves retention of lubricating oils.
