The FP Journe Chronometre Bleu was introduced in November of 2009. It is the first FP Journe watch to feature a case made of tantalum, a rare, hard and dark grey metal with blue overtones. This case (39mm) houses the hand-wound caliber 1304 CS movement, which can be seen through the transparent case back. The blue hue is accentuated by the Chrome Blue dial.
Chronometre Souverain
The manually wound, 21,600v/h movement in 18-carat gold baseplates and bridges shows why the simplest mechanisms are often the most attractive. Twin barrels, in the classic configuration of precision watches, work in parallel to deliver stable power for much of their 50-hour indicated reserve.
