Description
The Royal KonTiki is a modern sports watch loosely inspired by Eterna's famous dive watches of yesteryear. It features a sporty case with a distinct 5-pointed bezel, which hints to the company's logo. The GMT model was introduced in 2013. Its case measures 42.3mm across, housing the self-winding caliber 3945A movement. Reference 7740.40.11.1289 has a silver dial and a rubber strap.
Movement
For years Eterna Movement has focused its efforts on enlarging both its manufacturing technologies as well as its portfolio of movements. Thanks to the modularity of the calibre 39, the same base movement can give rise to a total of 88 different movement versions. As caliber 3945A, it features a central seconds counter, a date display and an additional GMT hand.
