Description

The L.U.C XPS is an exceptional timepiece in every sense of the word, bearing the respected Fairmined label. The watch's gold originates from community-based artisanal and small-scale mining organisations developed under the Alliance for Responsible Mining, setting the benchmark for the sustainable sourcing of precious metals. Chronometer-certified by the COSC, its self-winding L.U.C Calibre 96.12-L is housed inside an ultra-thin case and protected by glareproofed scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. Outside, its unique galvanised dial is inspired by gold nuggets and features a sophisticated slate-grey colour and a subtle curve. This 250-piece limited edition timepiece is available exclusively in Chopard boutiques.

Movement

Chronometer-certified by the COSC, the mechanical self-winding L.U.C Calibre 96.12-L beating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4Hz), boasts a 65-hour power reserve thanks to the Twin technology, a Chopard-patented system combining two coaxial barrels and representing a truly remarkable technical feat in light of the extreme slenderness of the 3.3 mm-thick movement.
