Description
The Certina DS-8 Powermatic 80 pairs a traditional look with a 'Powermatic 80' movement, which offers a 80 hour power reserve once fully wound. This movement can be admired through a see-through case back. Time is indicated by a set of elegant stick hands. The dial has Roman numerals on a black base.

Powering various Swatch Group brands as 'Powermatic 80'. Version pictured is Tissot-branded. It is based off the 2824-2. Can be chronometer-certified.
Within the Powermatic family of movement's there are -thus far- three different levels;
C07.1XX; these have a synthetic escapement.
C07.6XX; these have a regular escapement.
C07.8XX; these have a silicon hair spring.
