Description
The Certina DS-8 Powermatic 80 Lady is an elegant ladies watch. The case measures a modest 31mm across, yet still it holds a self-winding movement with a power reserve of 80 hours - which can be admired through the case back nonetheless. Time is indicated by a set of svelte stick hands. The black dial has Roman numerals for hour markers.
Movement
Powering various Swatch Group brands as 'Powermatic 80'. Version pictured is Tissot-branded. It is based off the 2824-2. Can be chronometer-certified.
Within the Powermatic family of movement's there are -thus far- three different levels;
C07.1XX; these have a synthetic escapement.
C07.6XX; these have a regular escapement.
C07.8XX; these have a silicon hair spring.
